noise

gameboy rock ; noise rock ; hangout times

Its beena really nice week. This have just seemed to fall into the right place. Its weird cause they don't often do that, so its nice for a change. I got a math exam mark back that I wrote on wed. and I got an 80% which is super good in math for me. I never do that well in that subject. My parents went to interviews at school this year and apparently my teachers love me. Thats always a good thing. Every year after parent teacher interviews my parents come home all like mad and they go on this shpeal... "Zachary michael, you're in so much trouble at school it is unreal" They go on and on about it and they think they can trick me into like feeling horrible and getting worried when really I know thats not true. lol They play the same trick every year haha, I think they realized this year that it only works once with me then I know they're faking.

The point is this: Last night after band practice Jordan and I went to catch the rest of a local show featuring the bands: Y2len, Motif, and lion stab. It was a bunch of electric dance party, noise rock type of bands. It was only Five dollars but we ended up getting in for free. It was real cool though, It exposed me to part of saskatoon's scene that I've never really seen before. It was cool, cause it was basically like one big hang out time. It wasn't about wearing the right clothes or talking the right lingo, or whether you had a studded belt or not. The demographic was quite interesting because you had the definit "indie" kids who dress the part, You also have this group of people who you don't think you would see at shows. Hallway kids, I don't really havea better way of describing it. Everyone was just having a good time, which is really what it is about you know. It atmosphere and the mood was the best part about it all. At hardcore shows and such likeness it can be really clicky, which I find a little redicules cause it should never been that way. needless to say I enjoyed myself.

It feels like winter has finally made its way here, stuck its foot in the door and I love it actually. Its a change, its different and I enjoy it right now. Its calming things down, bringing a peace to the warm rush of summer and fall. I like it, I think it likes me as well.

Love.
