its been a few days since I've wrote, so here we go.

I've been on break for a few days now, thank goodness for that. Not that school is really hard or anything, but sometimes its just nice to get a break right? I think thats fair. Anyways, I've been making the most of it I reckon, maybe not the most - but I've had a few really good days.

So I think it was friday night? Maybe thursday... either way, I went downtown with a couple of friends from college, kelli and emily. We just sort of wanted to get out of castle hill, and get hungry jacks - it was a lovely night. We took heaps of photos which I have no uploaded yet, but I promise they will be in an album soon.
The night was very interesting though. It was rather beautiful; good talks and good times. Onto the interesting note - three things: made friends with someone who worked at the monorain named omar, we fed and got coffee for a homeless guy - we didn't know his name so I think we called him bill, lastly - we were drinking our coffee down by the harbor, and then all of a sudden this aussie kid (17 years of age) decides to take a piss in the harbor right infront of us. It was rather disturbing, but what can you do? He turned around and started walking away and then he heard me talking, noticed I was canadian, and came back and apologized, saying "if I would have known you were canadian, I never would have done that!" He ended up sitting next to us for probably 45 minutes, it was ridicules, completely.

This morning we awake really early, 4:30 a.m., and gathered ourselves, grabbed a few items, and then hit the road. Yesterday a couple of us had the idea that we should get a small group together, drive out to manly beach and watch the sunrise. I figured it would be neat, and a relatively cool experience. I was honestly blown away, and it was heaps better then I thought it was. There was a path that ran parallel to the whole beach, and espen and I longboarded up and down - we just really soaked in it. After that we walked up the street and got a nice breakfast, with the best coffee I've had since being here, it pretty much made my week. After that we got back in the car and drove for about 30 - 45 minutes to the city campus. We were all pretty stoked being that none of us have ever been there, we've heard it was different and interesting, so we were not sure what to expect. Don't get me wrong, I love hills, but the city campus was amazing. It just felt more like a church which I feel comfortable in. It reminded me of home, so I think I might try to start attending more often.

Either way, its been a good couple days.
I still have three days of break.
I feel like they are going to pass quickly.
But we'll make the most of them!

Thanks very much for reading, I hope things are going well for you where ever you are right now.

See you soon,
Zachary
