Breathe

So its done, over, gone - color conference went by so quickly, yet in the same sentence, somedays seemed to go on forever. As most of you might know - I was serving (along side all of the college students) at the huge women's conference which Hillsong puts on called "color your world conference". They brought in a few really amazing speakers and just spent a few days digging into God, really pressing into his word and it was unreal, most of the messages really hit home for me haha, but trust me - there is no questioning that I am a man! I think it just goes to say that the speakers were truly bringing God's word to the table.

After that had passed we had sunday night left which was album night. Hillsong - generally once a year puts out a worship album which reflects where the church is it, and has many of the songs which are coming out of the church. Trust me, I don't think there has ever been worship songs this good coming out - there has been good songs before - but these songs, are just this raw - movement to try and meet with God, songs which are striving to truly worship Him. The recording was pretty awesome, they played two sets, 18 songs, and it was good - but by the time the night rolled around to a close we were all exhausted. Thankfully I got home by around 11:00 - some people were there all night. (which is ridicules)

Point being, now that that is all over - its back to normal classes tomorrow, I am glad I had two days to sort of recover from the lack of sleep, although I think its going to take me a week or two to fully get everything back. I woke up monday morning feeling sick, I sort of felt it the night before - but man, this is no fun. I think I just caught it because I had such a huge lack of sleep over the past week. Its not like I am dying or anything, its just a nasty chest cold. But this to shall pass hey? haha

Anyways - thats been the past few days. I am doing well currently - I'm going to see Iron and Wine tonight, and I've been looking forward to that for quite a long time - so it will be really cool. School starts up again tomorrow, Lord give me strength lol.
