Breathe

So I guess it is probably about time that I write something new hey? I think it is, it feels like its been quite a while since I have wrote to you all. It doesn't feel like much has happened physically - minus my emotions are a roller coaster - thats something that I am not going to lie about. Somedays I love it here - other days, well they're less than easier. We're going to tough this out though.

God has been real good lately - providing moments for me, that just sort of feel like home - not things which are replacing home - cause nothing will ever replace the friends / places I have at home, but just things which are helping me breathe a little easier you know? So to speak.

So last week was great - simply for the fact that I only have two days of school, the weekend was sort of a dumb one. I was just super busy - with unending things to do, still - I have assignments which I will be working on all day today. I am also trying to get some new songs recorded so I don't forget them, etc. Life feels mildly busy right now, but strangely enough - I am remaining fairly calm, so thats a good thing.
A couple days ago my friend who just goes to church here (we're in the same connect group, etc) Had his birthday party so we have a huge group of friends and family and we all went to this place called "bobbin head", its in a national park, in this valley where an ocean channel, which really is nothing more than a river - comes in from the ocean, and you're just in this valley surrounded by mild cliffs and trees, and it was just gorgeous. Everyone bbq'd played cricket, I just sat and provided background music for the whole day - which was of most enjoyment to me, I loved it.
We took a bunch of polaroids through out the day, which will probably end up in a post here sometime, it was fun though. They're just little memories which I will get to keep forever, thats what I love about polaroid.
After we spent the day at Bobbin head, we went to new town which is sort of like - saskatoon's broadway, but way bigger. Its the artsy area, where there is just general acceptance of people, no matter what - so many old book stores and record shops, so much good food! We ate at a japanese place which I can't remember the name for the life of me, and even if I did, I don't think I would know how to spell it - but the point is, it was so good. I haven't had asian food since I've been here so it was real good to have that meal and enjoy it with some amazing people. Its nice to hang out with non college people once and a while.

Some of you must be praying real hard because things have genreally been really good lately. God has been really carrying me through everyday. he is also been doing some huge works in my heart. Just with Burdens I've carried since I was young - stuff from my past, God has been bringing reconciliation in those areas. God always forgives us, but sometimes we don't forgive ourselves - and God has been paving a path for me to do that. Praise be to God!

I have a feeling this is going to be a big week, but I'm going to give it my best.
