To write love on her arms.

Tonight I got the chance to hang out down at the castle hill youth center with the founder of the "to write love on her arms" movement. Basically what they movement / organization is trying to do, is go around and make people aware of a number of things such as depression - cutting, etc.
Tonight - basically what we did is - he told the story, and his story - which was really cool. I've heard the story before but I think it had a different emphasis when I heard him telling it - also, we basically sat around and had an honest conversation with one another about the struggles and issues we are / have gone through as young people.
It was really good, also just very interesting - there were young people there, there were a bunch of college students there, just a huge age range. There were even a few parents there who brought up good points when we were discussing everything - it was really cool.

So thats neat!

Also - I am apart of this group at church called street teams. Basically - its a way for the people of the church to truly be the hands and the feet of Jesus - to mow lawns, clean homes, fix things that are broken, and just love people with no strings attached. I had a really good time there today. My specific team started a new street which they have never worked on before - and usually its really tough starting a new street, you'll get shut down a lot, and get a few door in the face type situations - but God really - quite literally opened doors. We got to know many of the people who live on the street and even got started on a few different projects - it was just awesome to see God moving.

Today was a good day, thank goodness for those.

But yea, thats that.
Another day down.
I'm still moving.

Take care friends.
