Breathe

Dear friends,

First let me say this, I am sorry that I don't post more for those of you who check often. Lately things have been pretty busy - just trying to get settled. I honestly feel that I am beginning to feel settled - the only thing that I am not super settled with is my room. There are just a few things which I need to get - so hopefully that will happen within the next week - hopefully!

Yesterday we went into sydney, took the 610 into downtown and walked around, got starbucks (two times) ((Thank the Lord!!)), and sort of did the tourist thing - we went and wandered around this chinese garden, it was super cool actually. I wasn't sure I would love it - but I sort of did. I think I'll probably end up going back and just hanging out there, because it was so peaceful. We also went and saw the sydney tower, and the queen victoria building which is a large, high class shopping center. It was pretty crazy, way out of my league haha. After that we made the long trek to the sydney opera house. By this time it was pouring rain, thank the good Lord for North face coat! (it kept me basically dry!) It was sort of weird how they had everything set up there, but yea - we didnt hang out there for to long - because it was pouring. I figure that I will end up going back there again sometime, just to get a better feel for everything, maybe do a tour when it is not raining.

Over all - it was a lot of fun, just walking around sydney, I love the big city feel. it made me want to live there, so who knows - maybe someday I will get that chance, because I would honestly love it.


There is this Powerhouse (college and career sort of group) retreat that is happening next weekend and everyone has been talking about it since the day I got here. Apparently it is just crazy, in a super good way. Point being, I wasn't planning on going but once again God provided a way for me to do this, So I will be hanging out with 1500 - 2000 yonug adults praising the Lord next weekend, who would not be excited for that?
I have been feeling really good at powerhouse the past couple weeks - its starting to feel like home, I feel free to really just sit with God, to praise God in the way I feel comfortable to. There are somethings which have taken time to get use to - such as prophecy and so on. Its really good though if you think about it - if its true and ordained by God, then it is good!

Point being, I am doing pretty good. God is stretching me, and speaking into my life. Its really good.
Keep praying, I would really really appreciate it still.
