the anatomy of a snowday

The wind is blowing, 60 or 70 kilometers per hour, and the snow is falling so fast in the wind that I can not see the house across the street. The light pole at the end of my driveway is barely visable as it once was. I look out my windows, and I see this off white, blue tinged wall. It is an impeccable force that pounds the walls and roof of this house, I sit in silence and it almost seems over powering. Then I find peace in the walls, the roof, knowing that I'll be fine, and in a couple hours this to will pass.

Today is a snowday, forsure it is. It stinks though, I usually can call those sorts of things, I definitly got up and drove to my bus and noticed that there was no one there, I then came home and made the wonderful breakfast that I didnt have, and enjoyed an old episode of csi. I thank God for snowdays. Its as if he is like, "zach, you need a day to rest, here you go" haha I doubt that is what he is thinking at all but I will still thank him for it.

No doubt in my mind that God was thinking that.
Im sure he thought of alot of reasons why he would make a snowday today.
Maybe God thought that we all needed it
