Just something to think about
So in English class today we talked about Our lives,
and my teacher popped the question "what sucks"
Which is a really awkward question in a English class, but he did it.
"what do you guys think sucks, in your opinion".
And a lot of people started putting out answers, as did I.
All of the things that we were mentioning were mostly tiny and not actually that bad.
After our time of sharing the things in which we all thought sucked My teacher continued...
He then wrote some words on the board ; new Orleans, Niger.
And others among those to.
He turned and looked at us and said, how do those compare to what I have written on the board. Obviously referring to the flooding and the famine.
This just really put my life in perspective for me,
and how little my stuggles are. I mean, I have a house, a family that I get along with most of the time, I have money and food. Life should basically be alright then, cause those are basic necessities. Why do I complain so much!?! I guess that is something else God is trying to teach me.
Be content.

agreed zach. somtimes it takes God smacking me along side the head(in that gentle fatherly way of course) to wake me up and look beyond my own problems to a broken shattered world that's screaming out for help. that realization is key, and i'm glad you had it today through your teacher. yeah...we should all really be thankful more often..
