Breathe

Friends and family,

Its been a while since I last wrote you - or so it feels for me. Life has been good, but can you say busy? Things have been really busy between classes - and evening events going on at the church. Things are getting a little more settled I guess you could say - we have finally finished our two week intensive, Praise be to God! I mean don't get me wrong - intensive is great, the lecturers all had some really awesome things to say, somethings which have really impacted me - but its just a lot to take in all of the time. Plus, we're not getting into real classes, which is going to rock! We have also finally got our ministries - each student has a ministry on the weekend and one during the week which they help out with. I got into the area which I wanted to - so thats really good, I didn't get into the area which I wanted within that... haha I got placed within the production area for my weekend ministry. Thats really good - its awesome to be honest, it'll help me get a good view on that side of the church, which a lot of people never see. I then (within production) got placed in stage managing. That is the interesting part haha - if you've ever been here - or any other large church for that matter you will have seen one of these people - you know the people who, when the preacher is going up, they run across the stage and bring out his pulpit? Yea, thats me. haha, Of course there are other things which the stage managers do - but thats what most people see, and in a church this size - it will probably be nerve wracking the first time. I got rostered to do my stage managing training this weekend - so that should be interesting, my biggest worry is just trying to figure out what I'll wear - I don't think that should be to big of a problem though, no worries mate!

So, as some of you know - I have been working on a new album over the past months and it is finally getting close to finished. It will be a relief once the songs are in the mail on there way to the distributer. It'll be even more of a relief when it is finally on itunes - I'll then be at ease. I am excited though - all artists are usually critical of themselves, and in this case I am just that. I love the songs but they don't sound quite like I wanted them to - so that sort of stinks, but its honestly ok. They are good songs, most of them I love, and thats good I suppose!

I am doing well though really - I am trying to dig deeper into God, reading more, sitting and thinking more, journalling more, trusting more - the list could go on forever. I figure I will only get out of this year what I put into it, so I am going to give it my all in all areas of my life - I am going to give it my best shot.
