Breathing.

So here it is, A new blog? Sort of - rather old actually. It is sort of funny. I had it set up in a way that I as well as you, could not see my old archives. I find it really funny to look back to around 05' and such like. Its interesting to me, to see where I have come from. You know - its alright, I am happy with who I am becoming. I mean - I know that I am not who fully want to be yet, I have progress to make still, but I am trying to become who God wants me to be. You know? Trying.

Today was good, the grade 10, 11, and 12's to pike lake. It was alright, I just hung out and played guitar and read some pages from the new books I have got. Anyways, Thats life right now. Things are good. I am not going to lie - I am happy right now. God has blessed me with some good people inmy life and I am so thankful for it. With good friends, a family who cares, and girl who listens to me at the end of everyday. I am thankful.

Anyways - My goal is to try and blog more often, I am not sure if I will be able to but thats sort of my goal.

About the current listenings.

DO YOU FEEL - THE ROCKET SUMMER
This seems like it will be the album of the summer for me. I loved the last two albums that avery put out. This one seems to follow them both in stride. It seems more driving, yet still very poppy and strong voiced. I am stoked for it to come out!

The BRAG AND CUSS - ROCKY VOTOLATO
Can you say harmonica? I sure can, I could say it over and over! This album follows up makers, quite strongly. I admit I downloaded this album, but this is one which I know I will go buy. It is worth every penny and I would suggest you purchase it as well. It is not quite the direction I thought it would go but it is still good. I am not totally sold on it through and through, but there are some songs which make up for songs I do not enjoy. Check it out when it drops on june 17th.

ALL OF THE ABOVE - HILLSONG UNITED
It is weird to think that I will be attending the school where this band is semi - based out of. Such as the other albums, I am not totally sold on this one, but I am sure the songs I am not fond of will grow on me. A lot of people down united for sounding the same, album after album. It partially might be true, but for me - I see what they are doing. They are doing it out of passion, and praise. I get it, and really, even though the music can get repetative sometimes, I still find this music aiding in my worship sometimes.

MIRRORS - MISERY SIGNALS
I have not been listening to much hardcore at all this year, but it appears the tables have changed? When this album dropped, I heard from a few people that it did not life up to the last one, I should not have listened to them. It is musically and lyrically the best hardcore album I have heard in a long time. With a new vocalist, there is a freshness which was not on the last album. Musically, still the musicians are the most brilliant writers, I love it. I wish I could write music like this.
