and now for the rest of the week

Hi friends.

Today was a longday, and a long day it was. I love how i just said that twice in one sentence. How has your weeks been going? Mine is definitly a little different from my average week, But i guess I am somewhat thankful for that.

It is about 7:00pm now and I have jsut gotten up. That is sure a different feeling. Today I went into day surgery for the repair on my right ear. Definity not something I have been looking forward today cause I am not a fan of hospitals by any stretch, but it had to be done. I had pretty much the same surgery on this same ear and my left one in grade eight. I hope that it clicked for you that it didnt work out in my right ear. gladly my right ear is in good shape, or so the doctor said. I just have to wait for this one to heal up now. The surgery took about 45 minutes I am told, and I definitly slept for over an hour in recovery. IT was good I guess though. All of the hospital staff were good to minus the few that were a little creepy. But hey, I am over it. This surgery should be the freedom I have been waiting for, for a large portion of my life. Can you belive it? I have never had water in my ears except for the first year of my life, the rest of my life I have not been able to have water in my ears. Think about that fora minute. Its relaly going to be weird whenI am able to, I admit it... I will probably freak out the first time or havea major crazy moment.

But that is that...

Last night was rather different too. For one, I went longboarding like two or three times throughout the night and I have not really done that before. IT definitly is a really good release just to get away from the house and listen to really good tunes. For second, We had our second band practice and it only seems to be getting better, It was weird cause at the very begining everything was good real slow and didnt look like we were going to get anything done but in the middle it totaly changed pace. We actualy got the skeleton of another song down so thats sweet, I was stoked on that song. Then all of a suddon Zach is pointing at the window and something is crwaling through my window. Wow a sight I am definitly not use to seeing, and all I hear is "man, your door is not unlocked, you said it would be!" So the short of it is, ben was over just watching and he went and got the door and brought jordan kurts back down with him. Lol all I could do was laugh, that was something matt from means would do. The rest of the practice was pretty well boched cause we have already gone for an hour and a half by that time and ME and kurt are both pretty tired, I am sure zach was to. After that we all jsut chilled out for a bit and listened to some new tunes and the bands I got coming in for the benefits show. I must say it is starting to look like this will be a fun show. I am just hoping that the word gets out and people come check out the bands. But yea I have been talking for a long time now so I am going to go.
