What is emo music? I don't think I even know but here I go...

Emo : the unforgiving genre of the current decade.
Loved by many, Frowned on by plenty.
A genre that is so vast it touches almost ever other genre of music at certain points.
Its an awkward love, stiff yet willing to bend.

What is emo.
Emo ; the expression of raw emotion, much like taping in to a untouched maple tree.
I know that sounds ridiculous but it is true.

Honestly, Im not lieing.
Emo ; the genre that is bridging the gaps created by our forefathers.
Its reaching the unreachable, and teaching the unteachable.
Almost impossible to sum up into a description.
Its mad, sad, love, hate, tears and hugs.
It is a blender full of emotions.
Sometimes its to overwhelming.
But its good. It teaches us plenty.
There are a lot of people I know who have parted from "emo" because they think its bad or has a bad reputation. But honestly I think its real.
I think that it is as real as it gets.
A bunch of kids playing their guitars opening their hearts and their dreams, and their thoughts for anyone to listen to and view.
that's going out on the line. I think that's real.
Then people say "well they all dress the same", "they are always sad". its not like that. im sorry if it comes off that way. OK wait. Maybe we dress similar, but that's what is currently comfortable and someday we will all grow out of it. We mean no harm to anyone, please don't break our hearts.

Im sorry if you disagree. I still love you. I promise But honestly guys. Please don't make emo out to be some sort of big bad monster that it isn't.
Its love. What people choose to love is their own decision. But I know I choose to love God.

And honestly that's something I needed to learn for a long time, how to love people that are unlovable. Gods done a work, Im finding it much easier to love the people who hurt me the most. Maybe that does or doesn't have to do with this blurb but now you know.
Yea that's some of my thoughts.
